Disney Princess: Royal Rooms and Pretty Places - by R.H. Disney - great lift-the-flap book for older infants and toddlers; full assortment of Disney Princess books
That's Not My Princess (Usborne Touchy Feely) - by Fiona Watt; a great introduction to your baby princess
Bella and the Royal Fairy Wedding - by Anna Nilsen - it's sometimes listed as a "lift the flap" or "pop-up" book but doesn't have loads of flaps; children lift one big flap on each page to reveal part of the story and the final page is a pop-up scene; a cute and colorfully illustrated tale for a baby or toddler
One Pretty Princess- by Heather Au - a short, rhyming story that any young princess would love; this may be hard to find in a bookstore but your local library may have it

For the Princess in Training (Toddlers & Preschoolers)

Princess for a Day: A Clementine and Mungo Story - Clementine's poor brother, Mungo, must cater to all his sister's needs when she decides to be a princess for a day; an amusing read for ages 3 & up
Enchanted Stables Series - stories about Disney princesses & horses; great for toddlers & school-age girls
Disney's Storybook Collection - get all the classic stories of your favorite princesses in one book
Disney's 5 Minute Princess Stories - by Liza Baker - short versions of the princess tales for the quick read
Princess Me - by Karma Wilson - a nice book with a simple story and good rhythm for reading
The Paper Princess - by Elisa Kleven - a cute story about a little girl who draws a princess that comes to life; part of a series
The Princess Knight - by Cornelia Funke - a nice story about a princess who comes to her own rescue
Princesses Are Not Perfect - by Kate Lum - a tale of three princesses who don't excel at everything - and that's ok (also another book called Princesses Are Not Quitters)
Princess for a Day - by Maryann Cocca-Leffler - a short story about a little girl playing at princess; ages 2 & up would enjoy
collection of 4 stories about a precocious princess & her brother; great book to start reading to an older infant or toddler that will be enjoyed for a long time; also has a "find the duck" challenge on each page

Step Into Reading: Princesses - Disney books for young readers; several in the series, such as A Pony for a Princess, feature princesses and help your princess to enhance her reading skills
The Princess and the Pea - by Lauren Child - expanded version of the classic tale by Hans Christian Anderson with color photographs of a three-dimensional miniature world of dolls
The Pirate Princess And Other Fairy Tales - by Neil Philip - seven fairy tales adapted from the stories written by a seventeenth-century Hasidic rabbi

Disney Princess site - interactive site that lets you choose a Disney character and hear each one's story, play games & more
Dress Up Princess - free site that allows the older child to pick a princess & her outfits
Dress Up Games - provides links to several dress-up sites including Disney Princess Mix & Match & Fairy at the Garden & Make a Fairy Garden; most are meant for older girls but a computer-savvy preschooler could enjoy some of the with help from mom or dad

Felt Storyboards & Creative Play - Imaginarium has various themes including Princess Castle, Ballerina, & more; comparison shop as the prices have varied as much as $10 depending on the retailer; another company called Felt Tales sells typically more expensive sets (but with more pieces) in themes including Pretty Princess, Forest Fairies, Princess at the Ball, Cinderella & others
Ty's Toy Box - get your hard-to find Disney Princess items (often at very good prices) online here; also have numerous other TV characters
Pinkalicious Doll - she's technically not a princess, but hey, she's wearing a crown; you can get the doll, the book or the book & PJs
Flitter Fairies - somewhat delicate but really  neat dolls; parental reviews suggest a minimum age of at least 7 years old
