Pearl Observatory (Gillette) - earth & space science enrichment programs, including a fossil dig & be a paleontologist for the day, for schools, scouts, camps & libraries
Stirling Hill Mining Museum (Ogdensburg) - Search around in the Zobel Exhibit Hall and you will find dinosaur eggs, dinosaur bones, petrified wood, a full-size replica Tyrannosaurus Rex skull, and a large slab of siltstone showing embedded dinosaur footprints.

- one of a series of books by Jane Yolen; great for infants up to elementary school; the actual names of the dinosaurs pictured are written on the page somewhere (great for older kids to learn the different dinosaur names)

- a nice story for preschoolers and older showing that being small doesn't mean you can't make a difference

Academy of Natural Sciences - the dinosaur hall of the museum, located in Philadelphia, features 11 species of dinosaur, has a fossil lab, a fossil dig & kids can see themselves on-screen with the dinosaurs thanks to a green screen (note: the dinosaur hall is interesting but not the only reason to go)
Fossil Hall - exhibit at the Museum of Natural History in New York City; a series of rooms with large skeletons and some interactive displays; it is not geared for very young children but if they just love to look at big dinosaur skeletons they'll still get a kick out of it
